Idea for an App
Hooray App is for parents who want to easily organize amazing birthday parties for their kids. The app allows the parents to invite guests and receive the RSVP, stay on top of your to-do list, create and update shopping list, track the budget, get ideas from the library and have easy access the favourite ideas.
Icon design
Hooray App Icon represents a balloon twisted in a shape of a dog, and also suggests the first letter of the App's name: H. It is playful and easy to identify and remember.
Colours
The colour palette for Hooray App is very bright, energizing, and optimistic. The main colours are Light Orange, Orange, Red Orange and Light Grey. The Bright Raspberry can be used to give depth and intensity to some elements. The first 4 colours (from Light orange – Bright raspberry) work well together in a gradient. The Green is used for highlighting elements and confirming actions. Blue works well together with green in a gradient as a opponent to the Orange gradient.
Fonts
The fonts chosen for this app are very readable and a slightly rounded edges give this professional and clean font a friendly look.
Textures, Patterns, Photography
The images for the app should express happiness, energy, fun. They should be candid, colourful and ful of life.
